Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, making things with my hands wasn't a hobby but was how I understood the world. That foundation eventually shaped a career in design and branding. Since 2004 I've co-led Werkbot, a web design and marketing agency in Erie, PA, where I spend most of my working hours thinking about digital experiences, brand strategy, and how good design communicates ideas.

But away from the screen, I paint. I carve. I create prints. It's where I come back to the tactile side of making things, the part that no software can replicate.

Informed Artist grew out of a simple frustration: most online art supply shops are run by people who've never used the products they sell. I wanted to build something different, a curated shop where every product has been evaluated with real studio experience behind it. No filler, no trend-chasing. Just honest, well-sourced supplies for artists who take their practice seriously.
